On the way back up river, we leaned back on edges of the boat and watched the lake disappear behind us. On the river banks, a guy about my age drank a beer and cows flipped their tails watching the five of us drift past them.

I just got back from a bachelor party weekend in reno. My good friend/band mate Seth is getting hitched in October, and tradition dictates a ridiculous, awesome time in the biggest little city. Jerry, Duwayne, Ezra and I drove up in Jerry's giant van. Duwayne and I hit the ground running and drank whiskey and coke the whole way up. Due to traffic, we were a little late- but not late enough to miss jello wrestling at the Cal Neva. Which was awful and hilarious.
The rest of the weekend was a blur of bro-times. Lots of drinking and farting and joking around. Paintballs, buffets, funny hats and bad shirts.
Reno is the best, somebody else should get married so we can go back.

Summer time is winding down, and as usual, I'm a little bummed out and a lot excited for the next year of school to start. Bummed out, because I will missing in action for another 9 months, but excited because I only have 4 semesters left to graduate.

In other news, Friday, a bunch of my friends and I are going to Reno for touch comm member and solid bro, Seth's bachelor party. there will be lots of prime rib, beer, paintballs, and black jack. also, with any luck, lots of pictures.

In accordance to posterity and bloggy narcissism, here is a list of things I did over the summer,

-read an assload.
-camping, drawing and big drives with Alex
-hockey with Neil and Canada Bros
-finished sleeve with Yutaro
-started shooting w/ film
-walked a lot with sonny
-helped bang out a new touch comm song
-other stuff

I got a pretty sweet new Polaroid-esque camera. Its rectangle instead of square, I guess more like a 35mm. Anyway, I like it.

Also, the new Dinosaur Jr. is blowing my brain apart.

I think I'm going to Prague over new years. Not positive yet, but its looking pretty good.
